An Isolette V made by Agfa Cameraverk between 1950-52. I just love the compact size this little beauty folds down too. About the size of a modern entry level DSLR, but nowhere as thick, she shoots 6×6 and fits in your pocket. There seem to be hundreds of these on ebay and I paid around the average for mine. Well it’s been a pretty awful long Bank Holiday from the weather point of view. Apart from a few hours of sunshine yesterday there has been solid cloud over the Southwest. I did run a test film through the new Isolette and deved the roll. Things look fine. The shutter seems to work at most speeds and the aperture does what it’s supposed to. Had a blinder of a trip at Saturday’s Flickr Pola trundle in the ‘Big Smoke’. Wasn’t quite sure how the day was going to go. Right, I’m packed, but am I taking enough film? This weekend Pola trundle in the Big Smoke is here. Really looking forward to giving the SX70 Sonar a proper workout and hope I might actually learn something. Finally had some time to spend on some data that we took on the afternoon of the 21st. Taken through the 250mm RC using the Nikon D5100 DSLR. We took a couple of minutes of video, but find that Registax 6 won’t load any more than about 1450 tif files for processing. Of the 3000 odd frames takes, I chose frames 1000 thru to 2399 and processed these. As with my terrestrial processing, you…
