Mr Pellow

Meet Mr Pellow, or to be precise Jamie – the man from Pellows, with his shiny new mobile wet vacuum cleaner. Apparently we have a really nice crust in solids tank No1, but the cause of our overflowing system was too much solid in the Interceptor 2 tank. Anyway, after sucking 3000 gallons of stuff, we are now all clear for another year or so. One interesting little snippit for you. I was expecting…

Teignmouth Weekend: Day Three

Our last day in Teignmouth started off a little cloudy, but at least it wasn’t snowing like yesterday. The weather forecast was looking up, so we decided to investigate Newton Abbot – which gave us another excuse to use the train as well as take our fourth taxi ride of the weekend. Waiting for the train to Newton Abbot – and the Sun is coming out. Not quite sure why the Happy Travellers look…

Teignmouth Weekend: Day Two

It’s hard to tell, but it’s snowing. I must admit it was nice sitting in a warm room eating scrambled Eggs on Toast with Bacon, while watching the flurries pass the window. Over breakfast we decided to take a one train stop visit to Dawlish. But first we had to get to the train station. Taxi drive number two of the holiday. On the train, outward bound for the beautiful seaside town of Dawlish….
