Good old Delia. Here’s her recipe for the dough that we use.
- 75-110ml warm water
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons of dried yeast
- 225g strong white flower
- 1 level teaspoon salt
- one egg
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
As to what be put on top….. well anything you like. But this had Mozzarella, onion, sliced tomato, tomato puree, pepperoni, anchovy, mushroom, garlic and we seem to have missed the black olives. Cook in the over for about 15 mins at 180C
