Third time lucky trying to eat at the Star Inn in Porkellis. Despite the limited menu – which can be a good sign- the Haloumi Burgers were delicious. We even got our own personalised Table Reserved sign. Yummy. Forgot to take a piccy before we destacked it – it was a good 6 inches high.
Full on Policies Management
Another first, with some drastic coppicing of the row of trees at the First Field edge of the garden. Over the years the willow and scrubby bush have rather stifled the rather nice Ash trees that we believe were planted about 15 years ago. Before we started hacking. Before we started hacking. Walking the Policies

The grass seed we had sown last Autumn has taken hold well – although in the areas where there is a lot of mulch, it’s a little stunted and yellow. Once it dries out and warms up, I think it will start…
