Ready Wrapped

Camera: Nikon D80 Lens: Sigma17-70mm f/2.8-f/4.5 Film: Digital Notes: Now I know how supermarkets wrap their veggies in plastic. The result of a afternoon spent walking between Mylor Bridge and Restronguet. It’s been a while since I’ve used the D80…all those buttons make my brain hurt.

IWM North

Three wonderful days shooting buildings in Manchester. The Imperial War Museum North in another of my favourite buildings. The brutal shadows of the low afternoon Sun balance the graduated patina of the buildings metal skin….

The Citadel: City 17

Camera: Nikon D80 Lens: Sigma17-70mm f/2.8-f/4.5 Film: Digital Notes: Three wonderful days shooting buildings in Manchester. This is the Beetham Tower, the tallest building in Manchester but bears a remarkable resemblance to the Citadel from Half Life 2. The other building is the Air & Space Hall at the Museum of Science and Industry. Manchester was shrouded in a glowing fog with a wonderful etherial light for both of the days we were there….

Spiral

Camera: Nikon D80 Lens: Sigma17-70mm f/2.8-f/4.5 Film: Digital Notes: The spiral staircase going up to the observation tower at the national Maritime Museum Falmouth. Love all the textural tomes off all that polished concrete.

St Allen Church

Camera: Nikon D80 Lens: sigma17-70mm f/2.8-f/4.5 Film: Digital Notes: Another one of those days where the light was just right. All the subtle tones fell nicely in place.
